JOI, GFE, Cam2Cam: A Plain-English Glossary of Cam Lingo

Live cams have their own shorthand, and if nobody explains it, half the tags read like alphabet soup. This is the friendly, keep-it-clean glossary — enough to know what a label means before you tap it.

The interaction acronyms

GFE — "girlfriend experience." Less about any specific act, more about tone: warm, attentive, conversational, like catching up with someone who's genuinely into you. A natural fit for the Sweet Talker vibe.

JOI — a guided, instructional style where the performer walks you through the moment step by step. The appeal is being led rather than left to your own devices.

Cam2Cam (or C2C) — a two-way setup where your camera is on too, so it's a mutual exchange instead of a one-way stream. It turns "watching" into "participating."

The format words

Private / exclusive — a paid one-on-one room, away from the public feed. It's the difference between a group hangout and a table for two.

Interactive toy — hardware that responds to tips or app controls, so the audience can actually affect what's happening in real time. If that "you press, she reacts" loop sounds fun, you're probably an Explorer.

Goal show — a public room working toward a tipped target, with everyone chipping in. Communal by design.

The vibe words
